Smooth, rich and rounded ‘Old Ale’ with a velvety texture and hints of chocolate, treacle and liquorice Dark full-bodied Red Brown Beer with plenty of flavour & aroma
I brewed this recently and was initially uncertain. I gave it an extra week and came back to it and now rate it among the best I have made over the past few years. Well worth kegging (I use mini-kegs). Really dark in colour and full of flavours - as with the same producer's Wherry this is one that will be a permanent fixture on my brewed shelf.
