It is a yeast strain that is commonly used for the brewing of bock, german lagers, kolsch, lagers and pilsners. A lager yeast that is recommended for IPL styles and/or dry hopped lagers. It produces some biotransformation that can elevate the hop profile on the clean base beer; this strain is also characterised by its high attenuation rate.
