I've brewed with this kit several times and often during Covid lockdowns I would have no access to my fermenter, so it the beer once stayed in the bucket for 4 months (!!) even after all this time, with some priming, the yeast was still active and I got delicious and very active beer in my bottles. I am not a very precise brewer but even with my sloppy methods I get great beer out of this kit, it's very dependable and I'm very happy with it.
The only negative is that the instructions aren't very clear, I use the instructions with notes from a more experienced brewer, but otherwise I would happily recommend this to the absolute beginner.
