First attempt at homebrewing and very pleased with results, dubious friends rating it as good as anything you'd buy in the shops. Instructions are pretty clear and simple. After two weeks of starting you'll have a very palatable light, delicate lager that with time has darkened and developed more character.
I followed the suggestion and used spraymalt instead of plain sugar and also bottled water instead of Galway city chlorinated mains.
